HACU 2012-2013 Scholarship Program

Aetna Nursing Scholarship–$2,500 Full-time or part-time undergraduate students attending 2- or 4-year HACU-member institutions. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and must be pursuing a degree in Nursing.

NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award–$3,300 Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a headshot electronically to HACU for NASCAR press purposes. Read more »

Raza Graduate Student Association (RGSA) 2012-2013 Scholarship Application

On behalf of the Raza Graduate Student Association (RGSA), we invite you to apply for the 2012-2013 RGSA Scholarships by midnight on Monday, April 16. With generous support from ENLACE, Equity & Inclusion, GPSA, Student Affairs and other RGSA donors and fundraising, RGSA will offer $500 and $1,000 scholarship awards for one incoming first-year student, current undergraduate students and graduate and professional students at UNM who demonstrate financial need and scholarly success or improvement. Our intent is to support students who demonstrate that they have overcome challenges to be or stay at UNM.

Deadline to apply: April 16th.

UNM’s Summer Session

El Mezquite Scholarship

OBJECTIVE

El Mezquite Scholarship, a $500.00 scholarship, is designed to provide financial assistance to students graduating from a New Mexico high school with the intention of attending the University of New Mexico or currently enrolled as a University of New Mexico college student.  The Selection Committee will base scholarships on educational achievement, leadership qualities, letter of recommendations, a written essay and a strong need for financial assistance. If a student received the IME Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year, they will not be eligible to apply.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be:

  • be a graduating High School Senior or a current UNM college student
  • be enrolled at the University of New Mexico during the Spring 2012 semester or admitted for the Fall 2012 semester
  • have a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA

If you received the IME scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year you are not eligible for this scholarship.
