DEADLINE TO APPLY: FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, 2011, 5:00 P.M.

Commitment and Scholarship:
Position – Undergraduate Intern
Commitment – 20 hours per week
August 2011 – May 2012

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be a full-time undergraduate student
• Must have a 2.8 cumulative GPA or a current 3.0 semester GPA
• Must have a minimum of 30 credit hours earned at UNM
• Students must be available for training August 18-19, 2011 (8am-5pm)
• Students must register for a 1-credit course (course information is be provided upon selection)

Orientation:
May through July

Group Interview:
• Candidates will participate in an interactive, group interview process during August 1 – 12, 2011.

Interns will:
• Enhance their academic experience at UNM
• Develop verbal, written, and team working skills
• Connect academics to cultural self-identity and social justice
• Build community through networking with campus and community organizations
• Participate in service learning and civic engagement projects
• Connect to diverse resources and opportunities
