Raza Junta

At the beginning of every fall semester, El Centro welcomes students, faculty, and staff with a celebration to kick off the new academic year. During our Raza Junta, we welcome all freshmen and returning students with a celebration that includes a ceremonial Aztec dance to bless the academic year, special guest speakers, poetry and music, to break the ice and wish everyone a fruitful and productive year. This event is typically held in the second week of the Fall semester.
