Transformar Mentorship Program emerges as a unique program that encourages students to explore intercultural education, identity, danza, ceremonies, and special gatherings, through community-based approaches and interdisciplinary thinking. This program will help participating students link their cultural background and sense of identity to their academic experience, and/or professional aspirations. The program includes two semesters of mentoring and learning that will begin during the fall semester and conclude at the end of the spring semester. Transformar students will also have the opportunity to participate in a two-week long summer Study Abroad in Mexico. Transformar Study Abroad trip is part of the Transformar Mentorship Program and students should factor it into their academic development plan.
