Eligibility
Program is open to any qualifying student regardless of immigration status
Must be a UNM incomming freshmen or sophmore enrolled in fall and spring semesters
Be able to attend all programming sessions in fall and spring semesters.
Must meet 1 of 3 of the following criteria:
Member of an underrepresented ethnic group in higher education
First generation college student
Eligible for Pell or State Aid
Requirements:
Commit to participate in the mentorship program for both fall and spring semesters
Attend 8 sessions, once a month
Participate in traditional and ceremonial activities
Actively commit to the learning process and embrace new knowledge
Participate in El Centro cultural workshops and events
