Ivette Acevedo Weatherholtz
MHC Program Coordinator
LPCC, NCC, ACS, RPT-S
Ivette is a doctoral candidate in UNM’s Counselor Education program. She is a bilingual and bicultural counselor and supervisor who specializes in complex trauma, migration trauma, cultural and race-based trauma, bilingual counseling development and supervision, and anti-oppressive practices. Ivette supervises MHC’s counseling team and is passionate about integrating creativity, play, somatic psychology, and natural healing practices to provide holistic therapeutic experiences that rupture cycles of intergenerational, community, and social-political trauma.

Grace Petro
MHC Administrative Assistant
Grace recently graduated with a B.A. in psychology and criminology. She is currently pursuing a master's degree with a dual focus in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling. In her prospective career as a counselor, she aims to support school-aged children from underrepresented communities and values a holistic framework. Outside of work and school, she enjoys animal training and spending time with her pets.
