My master's degree is dedicated to my beloved parents, Jesus Cruz Salcido & Lorenza Duran Salcido may they rest in peace and to son Alexander Sean Harding. These three individuals have been my inspiration. My parents: my father an immigrant from Mexico, my mother from Rincon, NM encouraged and supported my siblings and I to purse our postsecondary education--something they were unable to achieve. My father was unable to attend school past the 6th grade, my mother was pulled out of school to work in the fields in southern NM to help support her family and as a result got behind in her studies and never finished. My son, Alexander inspired me with is wisdom and empathic heart to make a difference in the world.
