Hola a todos! I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Albuquerque in 2017 to pursue a degree in Criminology at UNM. During my undergraduate career, I became very involved with El Centro de la Raza and the different programs that they offer. Through them, I was able to find a community that supports me and long-lasting friendships. As an alumnus of El Centro and a first-generation student, I appreciate the work that El Centro has done over the years and the amount of support that this department provides to underrepresented students like me. My goal is to provide students and families with academic consultation, guidance, and advocacy while executing and infusing culturally relevant activities.
